A message from our Senior Sustainability Manager
As the Senior Sustainability Manager for Hegelmann Group, I am honoured to introduce our latest Sustainability and ESG report. Acknowledging the significance of conducting our business in an environmentally and socially responsible manner has been key to making meaningful change both within our business and across the environments we operate in.
To that end, we have integrated sustainable practices into our operations and made consistent progress in reducing our carbon footprint and fostering a sustainable future.
We have recently begun monitoring all scopes of our greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in collaboration with our partner, Emitwise. We have identified areas for improvement and begun optimising transport routes, investing in fuel-efficient vehicles, and incorporating alternative fuels into our fleet. We take pride in our commitment to reduce our carbon emissions and are steadfast in our pledge to continue making meaningful changes and progress. This Sustainability and ESG report presents a comprehensive insight into our goals and targets, as well as the initiatives we have undertaken to support these objectives. Our dedication to our social responsibility goes hand in hand with our environmental commitment. We have rolled out programmes that promote diversity and inclusion, enhance employee well-being, and empower local communities. We understand our success hinges on the well-being of our planet and society and will use this as a driving force behind our search for innovative and sustainable solutions to our logistics challenges while prioritising the needs of our staff, customers, and communities.
